Government of India must form a Truth Commission to be headed by retired Supreme Court Judges to enquire into the causes which led to the traumatic period in Punjab from 1984 to 1994. Also documentation should be done to collect data of Sikhs, Hindus and Police men who lost their lives in this period. This step would be essential to bring a closure to the Trauma undergone by Punjabis as well all parties can learn lessons from wrongs committed by them during this period.
