In the case of castration of Sadhus registered against Gurmeet Ram Rahim and two Doctors, the cross examination was conducted of Hans Raj the prime witness and Complainant was partially on 5th,6th and 7th March. Team member of LFHRI S.Navdeep Singh Advocate was present in the Indian consulate New York U S A to ensure that the witness is not threatened and is able to depose in a fear free environment .The remaining evidence will be recorded on 17th and 18th April.
Though acquitted in two murder cases, Gurmit Ram Rahim still faces conviction in two rape cases and the case of imitating of Guru Gobind Singh jee and thereby hurting the religious sentiments of Sikh community is still pending for decision in Honble High Court.
