The World Coalition Against Death Penalty expressed its concerns as to the use of death penalty in UAE. In a letter to the United Arab Emirates Justice Minister the World Coalition criticised the recent criminal investigation of the 17 Indian nationals sentenced to death for a murder of a Pakistani man arguing that they”constitute gross violation of international standareds of due process of capital punishment cases”.
